The 3-weekend short film development initiative that aims to nurture and support emerging filmmakers throughout the development of a short film. The program will provide concept development of short film projects under the guidance of local screen practitioner, Dan Sanguineti. Open to all aspiring filmmakers, the program will look at how to generate concepts, write, direct, edit (including sound design) and develop a festival strategy for their project.

The course timing will allow for film's produced to be entered in 2020 Lights Canberra Action Filmmaking Competition. The Theme for LCA 2019 is 'PLANTED.'

 

The 3 weekends of intensive work will allow participants to hone their writing and producing skills while being part of a team and deepen their understanding of how to develop a marketable short film.

Total Course Fee: $700.00


Adult Workshop Terms and Conditions:

Attendees are recommended to be over the age of 18. There will be a maximum of 15 places or 5 short film productions. Teams of 3 are recommended, but single registrations can be allocated a group.

 

Expected pre-requisites for the workshop is some computer and IT knowledge, basic written and spoken english skills, ability to work in a team.  

 

Full refund will be provided if Sanguineti Media decides to not run the workshop for any reason. We provide discounts for group bookings.

Payment plans available, please contact us before registration.

 

A 50% cancellation fee will be charged between 5 business days and 3 business days before the event. A 75% cancellation fee will be charged between 2 business days  and 1 business day before the event. Cancellation Fee on day of the event onwards is 100% of workshop fee. If for any reason you cannot attend a day of the workshop, no refund will be available.
