The Short Film Intensive Workshop concluded in March with some very exciting results.
The outcome of the workshops was to write, develop, produce and shoot a completed short film, ready for festival submission. Two teams were formed and two films were produced over three weeks.
Both our workshop filmmakers not only made the Top 12 of Lights Canberra Action 2020, but took home a number of awards also!
Gossamer won Best Screenplay and Best Use of Theme, while Implanted won the Audience Choice Award for Best Film.
An huge congratulations to our workshop participants. We are incredibly proud to have had a part in nurturing and guiding these projects though the writing, production and post production stage.
The vision of our workshops is to develop great film ideas, educate in best content production practices, to provide support and give necessary resource to deliver projects to an audience.
Both films will now be sent on a festival run around the world.
